Welcome to VCH Photography!
Started for what seems a billion years ago (but really 7 years), VCH Photography was born on the thought of me, (Vhanessa) who’s old enough to know how to develop film in a dark room, picked back up my camera and started shooting. Somehow at the same time, my awesome husband (Lee) stole my camera and became better at it than me! (Or so he tells himself!) After a ton of nerdy photographer conventions, a bunch of terribly long classes, and a few photos being published in Magazines, we’ve become a little “overly competitive” over the years, but of course, he’s the husband so he’ll never win.
We’re based out of San Antonio, Texas but we’re originally from the “deep south” or so we’ve been told, so you’ll definitely notice that Arkansas/Louisiana come out. I’ll talk you to death about your wedding, get excited and let that country accent really come out, and say “yall” about 1,000 times.
Although we are the coolest husband and wife company, we never like to work with each other (we can never agree on who’s in charge), so we have an awesome team of shooters that work with us. We do agree that your wedding day is going to be totally unique so we’ll make sure that big and small moments are caught. You could say our style is “Contemporary Journalistic”. We just call it “making your hard work and personality show in your photo.
We’re very family oriented, so we’ll always make sure we capture mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, best friend, favorite uncle and who ever is important to you, but you’d better believe that YOUR DAY is all about you. We’re all about those posed shots, but we’re going to capture a bunch of candid shots for you. We want you to look back at your wedding and not only remember the loving moments between you two, but the tears from loved ones, the bad dance moves from family, and the children who put a finger in your cake when no one was looking! These are the moments that always mean the most when you both look back at your wedding photos.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact us at anytime! We’ll always text, email or call you back, but I do have to warn you, if you do call after 4pm, I can’t promise you won’t hear SpongeBob in the background!
Hope to talk to you soon!
